EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF GRADUATES – READY FOR THE JOB

THE PROJECT

DigiCAP’s objective is to enable its main partner, the University of Cape Coast, and other educational and business institutions to sustainably administer practice-oriented ICT qualification programs and accompanying strategies to spur employment and entrepreneurship.
This is achieved with a range of activities in the Project’s three (3) intervention areas, which focuses on:

  • Establishing in-demand and practice-oriented IT certification training, including students from marginalized groups of the population (e.g. based on income, disability, gender, access to education, etc.)
  • Securing various means of job placement, and support for start-ups to drive employment and or spark entrepreneurship in ICT professionals.
  • Expanding collaboration among educational and business institutions and ICT interest groups to contribute to a more viable market positioning of companies in Ghana.
